Sparkling Ginger

Ginger ale is great on its own, but its even better when you can add a few things and take it up a notch.

Serves: 2

Prep Time: 5 mins

The Elements:

85 ml apple juice

1 teaspoon lemon juice

5-10 thinly grated slices of ginger (as per taste)

1 cup crushed ice

300 ml ginger ale

Formula:

Pour apple juice, lemon juice, ginger slices in a glass and mix. Top with crushed ice and pour a can of ginger ale. It has a strong pungent ginger flavour followed by a soothing apple aftertaste. Strain out the ginger slices if the flavour gets too intense.
